In 2014, Sea Tech Week will focus in particular on deep sea challenges, through the central conference Deep Blue Days.
Current challenges in the exploitation of energy, mineral and biological resources will be presented and discussed by covering research and development, technologies, environmental issues, law, economics, governance and defence. This cross-cutting approach will help to create new interactions between professional sectors (academia, industry, governmental organizations, public institutions…) and disciplines.
