Seventh Dr Edouard Delcroix (1891-1973) Prize announcement

The non-profit organisations HYDRO and the Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ) are pleased to announce the seventh Dr Edouard Delcroix (1891-1973) Prize, established in honour of the Belgian orthopaedic surgeon and pioneer in thalassotherapy. This international triennial scientific prize, with a value of 25 000 EUR, will be awarded in 2013 to a researcher or a research team for an original scientific study on the links between oceans and human health.
Candidates from all over the world can participate in the prize. Candidates are requested to submit their participation form, scientific report and CV before 31 December 2013. The brochure, the regulations and the participation form can be found on the VLIZ website.
